ROADFORGE Privacy Policy
Version scope: This policy covers the current ROADFORGE releases for iOS and Android that include the neutral birth-year screen. Earlier development or test versions may not include these protections and are not suitable for children.
ROADFORGE can be played without creating an account. The game is designed for a mixed audience, including players aged 9–12, 13–17 and adults. It uses the limited analytics, notification and advertising services described below.
Age screen and information kept on the device
On first use, ROADFORGE asks the player to choose a birth year through a neutral age screen. The birth year is stored only on the player's device and is used to assign a privacy category and apply age-appropriate advertising settings. ROADFORGE does not send the birth year to Upload For Software, Firebase, Google AdMob, Meta or any server. The category is recalculated locally when the app starts.
Campaign progress, earned currency, upgrades, notification choice, birth year, age category and other settings are stored locally. Clearing the app's data or uninstalling it may remove this information and game progress.
Analytics and notifications
For adult players, ROADFORGE uses Google Firebase Analytics to measure game events such as app opens, stage starts and stage results. Firebase may process app interactions, device and app information, diagnostics and installation identifiers. Firebase Analytics is disabled for child, teen and unknown-age sessions. Firebase advertising-identifier collection is disabled by the app.
If a player enables notifications in Settings, Firebase Cloud Messaging and, on iOS, Apple Push Notification service may process an installation identifier and notification token so the device can receive ROADFORGE news. Registration is disabled by default and starts only after the player enables notifications. Notifications can be disabled in the game or device settings.
Advertising
ROADFORGE uses Google AdMob for rewarded and interstitial advertising. Players under 13 receive Google child-directed treatment, a G maximum content rating and non-personalised requests. Players aged 13–17 receive teen treatment, a T maximum content rating and non-personalised requests. Users whose age is unknown receive no ads.
iOS: CHILD, TEEN and ADULT use Google-only AdMob units with their age-specific request treatment. Every iOS ad request is non-personalised. ROADFORGE does not show an App Tracking Transparency prompt, does not request permission to access the IDFA and disables the Google publisher first-party identifier. Meta Audience Network and Meta App Events are not included in the iOS release.
For transparency, the Google Mobile Ads SDK privacy manifest declares that a device identifier may be linked and used for advertising measurement or tracking. ROADFORGE conservatively discloses this in its App Store privacy label even though the app does not request ATT permission, does not request IDFA access, disables Google publisher first-party ID, and sends only non-personalised ad requests on iOS.
Android: child and teen routes use protected Google-only AdMob settings. Meta Audience Network mediation may be used only for adult players after the applicable privacy flow. Independent Meta App Events measurement is not enabled in the current release.
Advertising providers may process IP-derived approximate location, ad interactions, device and app information, diagnostics, identifiers allowed by the operating system and provider, and fraud-prevention signals. Google's consent flow is shown where required before adult ad requests. Upload For Software does not sell personal information.
Sharing and service providers
Google may process information as an analytics, notification and advertising service provider for the purposes described above. Apple processes iOS notification delivery. Meta may process information only through the adult Android advertising route. Their processing is governed by the Google Privacy Policy, Apple Privacy Policy and Meta Privacy Policy.
Children's privacy
ROADFORGE is a mixed-audience game. It resolves the local age category before advertising SDK initialization. Children receive Google child age treatment, a G maximum content rating and non-personalised ads. Teens receive protected non-personalised Google ads. Meta is not initialized for children or teens. The game has no account creation, chat or user-generated-content system.
Your choices
Where required for adult players, ROADFORGE shows Google's consent form before requesting ads and provides Privacy Choices in Settings. Rewarded ads are optional and an unavailable ad never blocks game progress. Notifications remain off until enabled. Local data can be removed through device settings or by uninstalling the game. Security and retention
Network data is encrypted in transit. Service providers retain information according to their policies and configured retention periods. Upload For Software keeps only information needed for the purposes described above.
Changes
This policy may be updated when ROADFORGE, its audience settings or service providers change. The effective date will be updated before a materially changed version is released.
